Check out this December 2015 Patriot Ledger newspaper article:

“In this article filmmaker Len Morris helps ODW-Broad Meadows School honor a 20-year campaign against poverty and child labor by screening for ODW his latest documentary film “The Same Heart.”

Did you know ODW has worked alongside Nobel Laureate Kailash Satiyarthi?

2014 Nobel Peace Prize winner, Kailash Satyarthi of INDIA,  has words of praise for “The Quincy ODW Members.” The Quincy students started fighting child labor in 1994, the day former bonded child laborer Iqbal Masih of Pakistan visited their school, the Broad Meadows Middle School in Quincy, MA. In response to Iqbal’s inspiring visit, heroic life and subsequent assassination in 1995, the Quincy Kids launched a successful “Kids’ Campaign” to establish a “School for Iqbal” in Pakistan.

After successfully opening “The School for Iqbal, in 1996-1997, the Quincy students did not retire from the fight to end child labor. Instead, The Quincy Kids pressed on to co-found ODW-USA in 1998-1999 along with the legendary co-founders of ODW-USA-Thetford Academy of Thetford, Vermont.

Had the best time with the students from the ODW program at Broadmeadows Middle School in Quincy, Massachusetts. These awesome kids are aiming to raise over $10,000 for under privileged children in Zimbabwe in conjunction to their other fund raising efforts for #GoodWeave. So wonderful that they are learning the importance of being of service to their fellow man. They had an auction with a bunch of donated, signed items from me including #spartacus #gotham #thelibrarians #drift #csinyc etc memorabilia.

Thanks Principal Gilbert and THANK YOU ODW! LA x
